OPERATION: HELP LINDA HOANG GET THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!!!

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for visiting this website and (hopefully) supporting me as I try and get the BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!!! :)

I'm 19 years old from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and as mentioned in my video, I'm a Journalism student. I'm finishing up my final year of this print-based program (it's just a 2 year program), and had planned to do another 2 years of broadcast journalism at a different college. I am of course willing to push back my start in the broadcasting program to do this 6 month Island Reef job!!!

I can't describe to you how much I want this job and how good I think I'd be at it!! I love travelling and I was planning on taking a year or so to travel after finishing school so now that this opportunity has arisen, I just think it's SO perfect!

I really think that a blog I would write about my experience on the Great Barrier Reef would appeal to a wide range of people...

I'm not an expert marine biologist or sailer or snorkler or any of that. I'm not a seasoned traveller or have extensive knowledge and experience about and with Australia and the Great Barrier Reef... I'm just a regular person who would become a regular tourist (the ultimate tourist!!) who would be telling other regular people about her adventures and experiences in this incredible setting and I think that is really appealing! (At least I hope it is :D)

As I said in my video, I WANT TO TRY EVERYTHING!!!!!! And I want to write, video blog, photograph, everything I try in Australia!!!! I think I my blogs would be interesting, fun to read, insightful and funny. I love taking photos and making graphics, editing photos using Photoshop, and I'd love to take photos of what I see and come across on the islands of the Great Barrier Reef!! I love making video messages for my friends already, so I would be ecstatic to make video diaries, video blogs, video online episodes (webisodes) about my adventures for the world to read and see!!! AND I have editing experience so my videos would look good!!! :)

As I've written, I have writing experience, I have photography experience, I have blogging experience, I have website and online community involvement experience (which would be essential in the whole luring people to my blog and having them actively follow and participate in my adventures on the Great Barrier Reef!) I am self-taught in HTML, CSS (webpage making code), video editing and photo editing. I love talking, communicating, telling people about my life!! I love learning new things, exploring new things, and I think I'd just be a really great fit for this job!!!
